The blue town of the Rif mountains in one day from Fes, with a private driver and free time in the medina.
Chefchaouen is one of the most photographed towns in Morocco, and from Fes it is an easy day trip. The road climbs into the green Rif mountains, with stops for the views.
You have several hours to wander the blue alleys, the main square and the Ras El Maa spring before returning to Fes.
If your trip does not include a night in the north, this day trip lets you see the famous blue town without changing hotel. The road is about three and a half hours each way, through beautiful countryside.
We recommend leaving early to enjoy the medina before the midday crowds.
