Down the Draa valley to the desert of Zagora: kasbahs, palm groves, a camel ride and a night in the dunes.
From Ouarzazate, the Draa valley is the shortest road to the desert. On the way you see the kasbah of Tamnougalt and the old village of Agdz, among endless palm groves.
A short and easy desert experience from Ouarzazate, with only about three hours of driving each way. It is ideal for families and for travellers who want a night in the dunes without long journeys.
The Draa valley is especially green and beautiful in autumn, at the time of the date harvest.
