Palm-lined canyons and natural pools in the mountains above Agadir, with time for a walk and a swim.
Less than an hour from the beaches of Agadir, the road climbs into the foothills of the High Atlas to Paradise Valley, a canyon of palm trees, rocks and turquoise pools.
Walk along the river, swim in a natural pool and have a tagine in a small café before returning to the coast.
A natural escape just an hour from the hotels of Agadir. The valley is best from spring to autumn, when the pools are full and the water is pleasant for swimming.
Bring comfortable shoes for the short walk, a swimsuit and a towel.
