Cross the High Atlas in a day to the most famous kasbah of Morocco and the film studios of Ouarzazate.
A full day from Marrakech over the Tizi n'Tichka pass, with Berber villages and wide mountain views along the way.
Ait Ben Haddou, the UNESCO-listed ksar seen in many films, is the highlight. In the afternoon we visit Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert, before driving back.
For travellers with little time who still want to see the High Atlas and the most famous kasbah of Morocco. It is a long day, around four hours each way, but the mountain road is a highlight in itself.
If you prefer a calmer pace, you can turn this day into a two-day trip with a night in Ait Ben Haddou.
